Thorn-Clarke Wines embodies a rich Barossa Valley heritage dating back to the 1870s. The family’s viticultural roots intertwine with the region’s first gold mine, symbolising their commitment to producing wines of golden quality. In 1987, David and Cheryl Clarke planted their first vineyard, enlisting help from their children and Cheryl’s family, the Thorns. After a decade of selling award-winning fruit to other winemakers, Thorn-Clarke took a leap of faith in 1998, crafting their own small batches of Shiraz and launching their winemaking journey.
