Murray & Mallee

Forming the border between New South Wales and Victoria, a journey along the Murray River is an epic adventure that harks back to a time when the river was a floating highway. From the irrigated farmlands to the vast orchards and vineyards of the Sunraysia, the landscape gets drier as the traveller heads south-west into the Mallee, where salt lakes and sand dunes provide a taste of the true Australian Outback.
